COVID-19 Response Fund
Support the Imperial College COVID-19 Response Fund
As the world confronts the COVID-19 pandemic, Imperial College London is playing a leading role in the global effort to respond to the crisis. Imperial academics are at the forefront of efforts to advise the public and policymakers, understand the disease, develop new vaccines and create new diagnostic tests. Many medicine faculty and students are serving on the front lines of the NHS here in the UK.
The Imperial College COVID-19 Response Fund has been established to provide a means for donors to contribute to a pooled fund that will give the College the flexibility to quickly support high-impact projects in the university’s efforts to tackle COVID-19. More than 500 people have donated so far, together raising over £350,000 for research tackling the COVID-19 pandemic. This is in addition to an initial contribution of £1 million from the President’s Excellence Fund.
The fund is already having an impact on the work of many of our researchers like Professor Molly Steven’s work on diagnostics, the JamVent team's emergency ventilator and important research into the long-term effects of COVID-19. You can learn more about the projects funded so far.
Your support will help Imperial move and respond quickly, and make a lasting impact. Thank you for joining us in this global fight.
