Student Services Covid-19 Response
Student Support Services
In line with current government advice with regard to Covid-19, the College will be delivering all student support services remotely until further notice. All services will remain operational throughout the remote working period, although some services will be adapted to accommodate remote delivery. A summary of remote student support can be found on this homepage and full details can be found on each service webpage. The continued provision of advice and support to our whole student community is our absolute priority.
All activities are being delivered remotely, including 1-2-1 appointments, workshops and CV checks.
The Careers Service know students might be feeling anxious about internships, placements and future employment opportunities. They have published answers to Covid-19 specific frequently asked questions and are available to answer any of your concerns.
The Chaplaincy are running remote 1-2-1 pastoral support sessions and continue to host weekly meditation sessions based on mindfulness, Buddhist and Christian traditions.
The Chaplaincy have also published information and sources of support for those who have suffered a recent bereavement, including overcoming some of the challenges Covid-19 restrictions pose to the grieving process.
Counselling and Mental Health Advice
The Student Counselling and Mental Health Advice Service continue to have appointments with students online. If you are not registered with the Service but would like to speak to someone, you can still do this by getting in touch via email.
The Service continue to run workshops and will be delivering an 'Online Mindfulness Workshop' on Monday 11 May.
Online Connect is a space for students to engage in conversation. At a time when life may feel unsettling and overwhelming, it’s good to have the opportunity to talk and connect with others who may be experiencing life in a similar way.
Online Connect are sessions facilitated by one of our counsellors and mental health advisors who will help guide conversations and give helpful tips.

Disability Advisory Service
The Disability Advisory Service continue to support all students registered with the Service via email, telephone and video calls. If you are registered with the Service and have any questions or concerns about exam arrangements, please get in touch.

Study Support Sessions
You can access one-to-one IT training sessions to help you improve your IT skills, study more efficiently, and learn practical tips on how to manage anxiety and stress. These sessions last one hour and are run by experienced trainers.
All levels are welcome - whether you have beginner or advanced IT skills or just need advice.
Sexual Violence Support
The Sexual Violence Liaison Officers continue to offer remote support to students who are registered with the Service. New service users may experience a slightly longer wait than normal to receive an initial appointment.

Support in Halls
All Imperial-managed halls of residence remain open, even as the College has transitioned to remote working. During this period, residents should continue to adhere to social distancing rules. Wardens and Sub-Wardens continue to provide on-site pastoral support to residents who are remaining in halls. You can contact them via your hall email address or the duty mobile 24/7.
For those who have left halls but belongings remaining, rest assured that we will be in touch once restrictions are eased and the situation becomes clearer.
